Loch Arbour is a small quiet village on the Jersey Shore that features a beautiful beach. Its streets are lined with lovely trees and Victorian homes. The Village is bordered to the north by the Borough of Allenhurst and to the south by the City of Asbury Park. At only two blocks wide and five blocks long, Loch Arbour is the smallest town in Monmouth County. Since 2011, the Village of Loch Arbour has been governed under the Walsh Act form of government by a nonpartisan Board of Commissioners, consisting of three members elected at-large to serve three-year terms of office on a concurrent basis as part of the May municipal election. At a reorganization meeting held after each election, the commissioners select one of their members to serve as mayor and another as deputy mayor. |
