Sea Bright has many home types to offer from condos, townhomes, multi-family, and waterfront homes
with views of the ocean or on the Navesink River. Sea Bright is just south of Sandy Hook on a very
narrow strip of land between the ocean and a river. There are seven members-only beach clubs.
In addition, there is a large public municipal beach in the center of town which charges a fee but
includes free parking and is protected by lifeguards. When the lifeguards leave for the day swimming is
no longer allowed. The traditional surfing beach area, called the Anchorage, is free and public,
but unguarded. In addition, there are numerous public access stairs to other unguarded beaches for
fishing, recreation and suntanning.
The borough borders the Monmouth County municipalities of Highlands, Middletown Township, Monmouth
Beach.
Public school students in Kindergarten through eighth grade are educated as part of the
Oceanport School District. For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend
Shore Regional High School. Additionally, Sea Bright high school students have the
opportunity to attend schools within the Monmouth County Vocational School District,
including the five career academies.
Monmouth County is Known for Great Schools and Colleges,
an Extensive County Park System, Attractive Homes and Outstanding
White Sandy Beaches. Monmouth County's Shore Towns Offer Fine dining
and Shopping as well as Entertainment Venues. Among the Performing Arts
to be discovered are the Count Basie Theater,
Two Rivers Theater in Red Bank, Asbury Park 1920s Paramount Theater, Convention
Center, and the Stone Pony, which has hosted native New Jerseyans
such as "The Boss" Bruce Springstein and Bon Jovi. Monmouth County is
located just an hour away from New York City and 90 minutes from
